The pay was industry standard but no where near enough for the shoddy, half baked systems you had to work with to get your job done. Turn over was high, people came and went every month, which inevitably leads to management pressing us to work overtime because they do not have enough people. head 2x the entire 8 months I worked there. Management was extremely poor, with me only seeing the dept. All was not fine, I wasted 8 months learning a job I hated and will never do again. However they assured me all would be fine. Everyone is treated fairly and with respect. Leadership is pleasant and adaptive to ideas for change. ECS offers a friendly, fast paced, FUN work environment. I even expressed my concern several times to the people hiring me, including the department supervisor. ECS Tuning is built by enthusiasts for enthusiasts for good reason After coming on board to the ECS team, I feel like I am part of a family of professionals, enthusiasts, and entrepreneurs. A complete waste of time and a clear red flag, but I took another job (that I had to "reapply" for) that I had 0 experience in, and frankly, no interest in. I should have left when I came in for the interview and the "supervisor" of that department decided they no longer "needed" anyone. I originally applied for a different job. This will sound corny, but if I could whistle, I'd whistle on my way to work every day. eCommerce is fast paced and there's no shortage of opportunities to make an impact. The hardest part of my job is simply keeping on top of everything. When something is going wrong, everyone knows about it, and the team digs in to solve it without pointing fingers. When something goes right, people get praised and recognized. It's very transparent with lots of communication. The culture has changed 180 degrees in my time here. The executives are "normal people" who dig in and work hard with the team. The CEO is excellent and takes the time to get to know people.

They care about the team and are constantly helping coach you on how to improve. Management is very strong (some of the best leaders and people I've ever worked with).

Because it's an eCommerce based business, there's always SOMETHING new going on - you will never be bored working here. It's amazing to see the evolution of the business since I started. I called DT, they did a bunch of calling around and found what I needed in-stock and had it shipped quickly so it arrived within 48 hours of my phone call and I made it to my track event securely attached to the seat.I've been at ECS Tuning for 5 years. A few weeks back I got a chance to do a night on the track and needed a Schroth harness setup quickly.

It's a business and, if it doesn't belong to you, you don't get to make the rules. You either try to fix it, suck it up or leave. I've worked for places that I enjoyed, were bought out and then became not-so-fun places to work.

In regards to not treating employees well. A place like ECS serves a purpose every now and then. I also paid a bit more for Collin Green's coil over setup for all of the R&D that went into improving over the BC/Swift stock equipment. I order big stuff or unique items from the smaller, community vendors (ex: I bought my strut tower bar from Way as I like Texas Speed Works designs and he bought them out for those designs, so I think he should get the business). Odds are that those shops wouldn't have had my odd selection of parts on hand, though (fuel filler neck and associated bits). A smaller, more personalized shop like Way/DetroitTuned/OutMotoring would have figured that out themselves and called me to confirm what I wanted to do. It arrived late on Friday, so my Saturday wrenching session was saved.
#Ezs tunnting zip
I told them to cancel the zip tie and they had the order on the way within the hour. I called Thursday morning and found that one of the parts wasn't actually in stock (a ZIP TIE for $1), so they held all $300 of parts because a $1 zip tie wasn't in stock. I paid for expedited shipping as it was Tuesday morning and I wanted to be sure that I got the parts in time to do the job over the next weekend. I received a 14"x12"x4" package for something the size of a standard house key that was made of hard plastic and wasn't fragile.ΔΆ) I placed an order for 10 or so parts, but lets say exactly 10 for the sake of explanation. It was in a MINI OEM box, that was in a bag, that was in another bag, that was put in a box, that was put in a box and then shipped. 1) I bought a small piece of plastic, a filler plug.
